I'm an IT professional with 11+ years of experience and a foundation in Computer Information Systems. My career has covered support, software development, and database administration at carrier scale. I started in Tier 1 support and was almost immediately moved up to Tier 2 escalation work. From there I moved into development, writing and maintaining production code in a COBOL-style legacy language, and then into a switch consultant role, administering the in-memory databases across 500+ network switches spanning the West Coast. I've also worked as a DevOps engineer at a startup (under NDA), running containerized workloads on a custom platform layered over k3s Kubernetes.

Today I'm a Help Desk Technician II at a multi-clinic healthcare organization in Idaho's Treasure Valley, where my work spans the service desk and systems administration. I work with identity and access across a hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID environment, scripting bulk provisioning in PowerShell and rolling out hardware security key MFA. I administer the organization's VMware Horizon virtual desktop platform, and I'm the escalation point for complex support issues.

I also build the internal tools my team relies on: Python and Flask apps, usually containerized with Docker, that automate onboarding and staff changes through our ITSM platform's API, back up and search the knowledge base, and flag unanswered tickets in real time. I created the organization's AI governance registry, which documents ownership, guardrails, and risk reviews for the AI tools staff use. All of it is built with HIPAA and patient-data protection in mind. Every step of the way I've learned to diagnose fast, communicate clearly, and fix problems so they stay fixed.
